Description Suggest change

The climbing here is generally technical face climbing on edges (and the odd pocket) on vertical to slightly overhanging solid, coarse granite. The wall stays dry in light rain, unless there's a strong west wind and doesn't seep.

***NEW*** Set of anchors at the top of Woman's Touch. Now there's a set of anchors at the top of each climb. Not shown on the photo below.
-----------Hand-line installed to connect top anchors of Spruce Lee,Ichibang and Zatoichi. Easy to throw a top rope on Ichibang from the top of Spruce and likewise for Zatoichi.

Directions: Drive 65 km west of Terrace or 71 km east of Prince Rupert on Highway 16. The trailhead is located between Snowbound Creek and Polymar Creek on the north side of the Highway, across the tracks. When driving west from Terrace, look for the start of old growth trees and pink flagging on bushes on the north side of the road, across the tracks. Trailhead is just a bit east of the 44 mile marker on the CN tracks. Follow the flagged trail north into the trees and through skunk a cabbage section then veer west (left) along the toe of the hillside. After crossing a very small stream, the trail veers uphill past a scrubbed tall boulder (which now has anchors..). Use a few fixed lines on steep sections of the trail. Follow flagging to the base of the wall then head right to the climbing, entire trail is less than 1 km (~15 mins).

There is a beautiful lookout just past/behind the climbing area overlooking the Skeena River valley to the west which makes for great views and sunsets.
