Description
Straddling the continental divide, the Anaconda Range, also known as the Pintlers, is a craggy mountain range that runs west from the Lost Trail Pass to the east to the town of Anaconda and across the top of the Big Hole.
Tallest summit in the range is West Goat Peak at 10,793 feet. The bulk of the range is located within the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness Area. Human powered approaches and recreation gives the area a more quiet and remote feel. A system of trails makes for reasonable travel.
