Description
Limestone sport. Slightly overhanging. Short but packed with bouldery moves. Good sharp texture. East facing. Climbable almost year round. But approach varies in length, depending on which gate is open. (2.2 mile, easy hike in winter. And one minute hike in summer)
Getting There
Drive up South Willow Canyon. From the first Forest Service gate, you drive about 2.2 miles to reach the parking for Lower Narrows, which is about 1/4 mile past the second gate (If the second gate is stil closed, in spring, it's only 5 min walk to the cliff). An obvious, 150 foot, rotted looking cliff quickly appears. There is room for three cars on the right side of road, very close to the base of the cliff. At base of cliff there is a deep cave, with a low ceiling. Go right here, and follow the base of Cliff, and then to the clean scree, for less than a minute to arrive at "Fern's"
