Description

The Stansbury Mountains form the west side of the Tooele Valley. They are best known for the popular trail on 11,031' Deseret Peak, but there is also excellent hard limestone sport climbing in South Willow Canyon and a little bouldering on Stansbury Island.

Getting There

The Stansbury Mountains are generally accessed from Grantsville.
