Description
Field of huge boulders just off the road, along the trail up to the fellows. A lot of the boulders are choss but the vast quantity of rock allows for some singular lines. Initially developed by Bob Murray and others over the years. Please stick to something that looks like a trail and place your gear out of the way of plants, when you can, to minimize erosion and trampling.
First boulder is at the trail head with some warmups and moderates ~0 min, One can find a small batch of alright easier climbs just down the trail all very close together Corner Stone, Low Brow, Pizza Hut etc ~5min. Farmers Only is just past these warmups on the left. Walking further one reaches the 36th Chamber mostly highballs and harder lines ~10min. The trail heads through a tight squeeze between two boulders and to a large patch of boulders marked by a huge boulder on the left side of the trail (Cilley Putty) with some old school tope ropes ~12min. Here one can find some cool petroglyphs and What About Bob? The trail then heads up further to the fellows with some more Bob murray climbs not listed here.
The main wash divides the Gilly Monsters & the Klettergarten areas, with Dreamwalker at the very end of the boulder field approached by hiking under Stronghold Dome ~35min; other cool climbs, some done some not, in that area. Many great climbs not listed here.
