Description
A crag with 24 moderate routes mostly in the 5.9-5.10 range with a few 5.11s. It is very closely bolted and has mellow approach, making Telematica a popular venue for families and folks looking for easier grades. In winter sun only hits the rock for couple hours in the afternoon, but the crag is very sheltered and perfect in cooler months. In summer months the crag would bake in the sun.
Variety of climbing on slab, steep, corners, and open chimney features on fine quality rock.

Getting There
Exit the A10 tollway at Albenga. Follow SP582 through couple roundabouts. In Martinetto, 5.5 km from the highway exit, turn left on SP14 (towards Castelbianco) and set the odometer to zero. After 6.9km, immediately after Osteria Scola on the right, make a sharp right turn on a small paved road towards Oresine. Follow this road uphill for 700m. After a sharp bend in the road, you will see a gated parking garage on the right. The roof of this garage is a flat concrete parking lot. Park there, then cross the road to a small chapel, and find a flat path that begins the chapel. There is a sign for Telematica and Caprette at the start of the path. After walking for 7-8 minutes you will see the wall on your right, this is Sector Caprette. Continue walking on the main path for 5-6 more minutes, and you will arrive to the obvious tall grey wall on your right. This is sector Telematica. Scramble up the rocky terrace (15-20 feet) to arrive at the base of the routes.
