Description

Otura is a popular Asturian climbing area due to it's proximity to Oviedo. There are over 116 routes across a wide range of grades on excellent rock. There are bolted, single and multi-pitch routes in a gorgeous rural environment. For the new sectors it is necessary to use 80m ropes. Best season: autumn and spring. It is perfect to climb on sunny winter days, with a quick drying rock. In summer it's very hot.

Getting There

From Oviedo, Asturias take A-66 and N-630 to AS-231. Take the AS-231 exit from N-630
11 min (11.6 km). Follow AS-231 and MO-4 and find parking along the MO-4. Walk 5-10 minutes to the crag.
