Description Suggest change

Bear Country is the place to be for the 5.10-5.13 leaders. Count on several classics to emerge in the area. Morning sun.

Getting There Suggest change

From the parking lot head up the main trail, crossing a bridge, a wood platform, another bridge, and then cross the creek on rocks just after the sign for "Angel Springs". Continue up the trail for ~75, looking for a spur trail on your right. Take this back across the creek, it deposits you in the middle of Lower Bear. Orient yourself off the bear face painted on the rock, the faded rock sign for "Bare Jordan", or the perma draw on the roof up and to the right on the line "No Defined Crux"

20 minutes from the parking lot. Be careful of the creek crossings in the spring.
