Description

In addition to lots of long easy/moderate multi-pitch roped climbing routes, the Lienzer Dolomites have a great set of cable-protected Via Ferrata routes (German: Klettersteig). The approach to most of them is straightforward but not short from Parking, so makes sense to sleep in the Karlsbader hut and climb on multiple days - (or approach with a hybrid-electic E-bike).
. . (though the link-up of Rudl Eller Weg with Laserz Klettersteig is a worthwhile single day visit car-to-car).

For those who need to go for something longer, could try the link-up of Laserz to Panorama to Ari Schübel with an early start from the Karlsbader hut. Or for super-long, a mountain "animal" could try a pre-dawn start from Parking and link up Rudl Eller Weg to Laserz to Panorama to Ari Schübel to the Karlsbader hut.
