The Münsterland is a large, flat area of the western lowlands of Germany. It borders the Netherlands to the (north)west, Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) to the north, and the Ruhrgebiet (The Ruhr Valley) to the south. In the west are some hills in the Teutoburger Wald, where one may find rocks to climb.

Getting There Suggest change

Take a train to Münster. Or better Hamm. It has better further train connections. Once you arrive, jump on your bike and experience the flatness.
