Description Suggest change

A fun little overhanging wall on coarse quartzite. The main wall faces West-ish. Most of the main routes were bolted with a stick clip in mind, and currently most of the draws are fixed.

As of 8-22-2019 there is a janky 8 ft stick clip there and someone was kind enough to leave a beta stick there as well. All the hard routes are fixed. Bring 5 draws for the warm up (fixed draws coming soon). Also there is a hangboard in the little cave as well as a 60m in the bucket.

Due to the heavy precipitation this year the belay washed out, we are going to build some proper belays soon as well as put in lower starting bolts, belay bolts, and even add some link ups. The south face has potential and has anchors for anyone questing for an FA. (Will update once work is done)

This area was the result of a lot of hard work from the community and even boasts a highline (courtesy of Casey Elliott). Thanks to Rollin for actually posting this. And thanks to Joseph Smith and all of the Mormons for planting such beautiful rocks so they could grow into amazing rock climbs.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach as for the Battallion of Saints wall, but cut left (west) across the gully once the trail splits. Follow cairns to a steep shale scree, take a few insecure steps on the shale to get into the next gully. Follow cairns.  Go up and over into the next gully, follow some switchbacks and cairns up the hill, then eventually head west. This will put you right above the Gnar Wall, which you'll be able to hike around and down to the base of. 20 minutes maybe.
