Description
Scattered boulders on the edge of the large talus slope have a few moderate problems on funky textured rock.
Getting There
From the Emerald Lake parking lot hike up the trail for 1/2 mile and then turn right and follow the Lake Barrett trail. Just under a mile you will cross a small stream on the trail, shortly after this look for a faint trail up the hill on the left. Take this trail and follow the old mining road up for another 1/2 mile. This will get you to Way Lake and the Lower Meadow. Continue on for 300 yards skirting a pond (sometimes wet and sometimes dry) on the right. When the pond is visible head right and you will find the boulders.
