Description

Some deep water soloing. The lake is called Cliff Lake because of the large cliff in the distance - this is not the recommended cliff to climb, it looks sketchy with endless loose rock. Instead, there is a perfectly vertical little cliff that comes out of the lake with opportunity for lots of deep water soloing.

Also some cool hiking here to the bigger cliff.

Getting There

Go to Smoothwater Outfitters, rent a canoe and ask how to get to Cliff Lake. Canoe across Rib Lake and portage for less than a km to Cliff Lake. Camp on the island campsite and look east, the wall is 100m away.
