Description Suggest change

Several moderate length multi pitch adventures exist on the walls of Monte Chetif. Numerous of which take you to the summit. The environment is sublime, right above Courmayuer & below Monte Bianco (Mont Blanc). There is also some single pitch climbing that can be done on Month Chetif.

Getting There Suggest change

The parking for both the multi-pitch & single pitch is near the restaurant, "Ristorante Pre' De Pascal" that can be reached by car during the summer (find it on google maps). This is a nice place enjoy a beer after your climb, and watch seracs fall off Monte Bianco.

To reach the multi-pitch climbing follow the track that heads up the ski slope opposite the Rifugio. It will take you to the left and out onto a grassy ledge that overlooks Courmayeur.
The single pitch areas can be reached by following the road up above the rifugio (SW) once you've parked. Take a turn left up to the top of a couple of chairlifts, skirt a wall on the right and traverse. This trail accesses numerous single pitch sectors which can be identified by plaques at the base of the routes.
