Description
Two small vertical sport crags and one developed slab crag are in this small area East of Heart Creek and Acephale. All routes are moderate, however the area is very small so it doesn't really support more than 1 party per crag. Due it it not being very well known however odds are you will have it to yourself.
Getting There
From Westbound Trans-Canada Highway 1 take Lac Des Arcs (Exit 105) and get right back onto the highway Eastbound. Drive for about 2km past Heart Creek until you see a gravel road with a gate on your right. Park in the ditch and walk along the gravel road for about 20 minutes, passing by a slab of rock immediately left of the road, followed by a higher slab on the left above the road. This higher slab has been developed with what looks like 5 bolted easy slab routes on it, you can access it by awkwardly bushwaking your way up from the road, or you can continue for about 3 minutes further to the two sport crags that have routes worth climbing. The trail for both Alphabet crags is on the left marked by a cairn right after a big left bend in the road.
