Overhaul Area Rock Climbing

One of the largest and most varied crags at the Far Side, Overhaul was the first crag developed on the north side of the highway. It offers a range of grades, rock types and styles. Relief Camp, the leftmost section, is a tall, steep and heavily featured piece of rhinostone with some spectacular 11s and two inconceivable 12+'s in the mini cave. As you move right, the Motherland is located exactly at the fault line between the andesite upthrusts and the Snoqualmie granite batholith, combining elements of the two formations. Don't miss the astounding roof chimney Offspring 12a & Hovering Mother 12b. Continuing right, the rock gets more granitic friction and slabby angle and the average grades ease.
