Description

Down the West Loop of the trail you'll find the Crying Shame Boulder and the Songbird roof. There's a whole host of other bouldering opportunities along this side of the trail mostly slab but keep your eyes open and you may find something new.

Getting There

The west loop trail can be accessed by parking in the first parking lot on the left when you pull in to St Francois State Park with the swing set and pavilion. Park here and and head past the swing sets to find the trail start. The crying shame Boulder will be the first overhanging Boulder on the left with an obvious roof underneath with a few holds under it. The song bird roof is a little further down keep your eyes out to the left for a little Dry Creek bed running through the trail it's hard to spot so keep your eyes open.
