Description Suggest change

This small crag is a collection of easy sport climbs that is relatively close to Reykjavík (about 80 miles). It's on the way to Hnappavellir and can help break up the drive.

From Reykjavík, drive east on Highway 1 (the Ring Road) for about 80 miles. You're going to make a left-hand turn about 7 minutes past the 4th bridge that you'll cross when coming from Reykjavík. This bridge is next to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall.

The access road to the crag is on the north side of the road, and there is a blue sign labeled "Hvammur"--but this can be hard to see. The access road is directly across from the second turn-off to Highway 247, which is easier to spot and is also on most maps. Hwy 247 is a loop that comes off Hwy 1, so it has a west and an east intersection with Hwy 1.

After you turn North towards Hvammur, take the first right. This road will dead-end at the cliffs.
