Description
Yoosun-Dae is the prominent granite peak above Jang-gun-bong. It stands taller than Jang-gun-bong, but is kept relatively hidden from the trails until you climb Jang-gun-bong itself. It boasts one of the most scenic ridge as well as a few multi pitch trad climbs.
Getting There
From the park entrance, hike to Bisun-dae. Follow the hiker's trail to Gum-gang-gul, then head towards Ma-dung-ryung. About 200m past the south-west wall of Jang-gun-bong, you'll encounter a climber's trail to the left. This climbers trail is just above a large thumb-shaped rock (on your left) on a perch that has a flat face, facing you. Follow the trail past a small pass to reach a secluded area beneath Yu-Sun-Dae wall.
