Description Suggest change

Very nice secluded bouldering spot! Dense forest surrounds you and the rush of Golzales Creek provides nice ambiance.

Getting There Suggest change

All the established boulders are located a bit South of Gonzales Creek in the forest.

Specific steps shared by the boulders:
  • Park at the Gonzales Creek pullout with the interesting Native American info sign
  • Walk back South along the highway
  • Right before (just North of) Gonzales Creek itself, start hiking up a scree ridge that slices randomly through the forest
  • When you hit a small, undeveloped cliff, turn right
  • Cross Gonzales Creek here. Looking downstream, you should see a vaguely developed-looking riverside boulder, which apparently has a V5 on it (The Water Throne).
Fantastic Mr. Fox is uphill (further up the creek, see individual page) and the supposed "Tea Cosy" boulder is further into the forest.
