Access Issue: Road and Raptor Closures Details

Per Ross Andrea: Ramparts Range Road is closed December 1.

March 1st-July 31st: Devil's Head Rock, Sin City, & Recovery Wall are closed for raptor protection. The vast majority of the other crags are unaffected by the closure. Please visit:

Description

Cams and Eggs is a short, steep wall near the lookout tower with some fun, pumpy routes.

Getting There

Hike the Fire Tower Lookout Trail to the ranger's cabin below the lookout tower. At the cabin, veer right and directly behind the pit toilets find a trail of sorts heading downhill (southwest, away from the tower). Follow it for only about 200 feet, then break off left, and wander south for 5 minutes or so, not really gaining or losing much elevation. There are signs of use along the way but no real distinct trail. Keep an eye out for bolts. Digiback Wall will appear on your left, and the stubby but steep Cam and Eggs Wall will be directly across from it on your right.
