Description

Windy Lake is the highest of the local ice climbs at around 100 ft and has up to WI3 routes on it.

Getting There

From Chelmsford, head 21 km west bound on Hwy 144 until you get to Marina Road. Take a left down Marina Road for about 400 metres and park here, paying attention to not block any driveways or lake access. Head southwest out over the lake hugging the island to your left; walk around the end of the island and you will see the ice from this point. It’s about 500 meters from the car to the base of the ice.
