The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

East facing formation on west side of the large valley SW of the astro domes.

Getting There

Approach from the east, as you would Room to Shroom but you can stay in the broader open valley as opposed to scrambling up the rocks. Toad rock is the smaller dome with the prominent gently left arching crack in it. It is a bit of an approach to get here.
