Description Suggest change

One of the first boulders to be discovered after the fires (2017) burned away all the brush hiding it from view. Behind this boulder, another, and behind that one, a hillside of tall boulders. First ascents for everyone!

Lots of potential routes on this boulder, provided the charred moss and lichen are brushed away. Stairway downclimb off the back, slab problems on every face.

Getting There Suggest change

East from Old Squaw and Don Quixote boulders. If at Don Quixote, facing the Icehouse cliffs, walk to the right parallel to the Swinging Bridge trail, this is the large boulder with a massive body width crack down the middle.
