Description Suggest change

An insignificant -but awesome- climbing area found on the far right side of The Sunshine Wall. No one goes here but me, and I usually go here, alone, to collect my thoughts. If I could find a climbing partner, who likes to hike...and doesn't mind spending the day with just me and only me...I could be climbing some pretty rad routes a lot more than just once every other blue moon. But alas, I fear that old age will kill me before I get that chance. So, if anyone has my number...give me a call...before I turn one hundred years old...because, that's when the grim reaper and I have a date to climb that final set of jugs to the anchors in the sky. So, if anyone else out there is realizing that they have less days to climb than more...get right with God, and then go climb at The Grotto!

Getting There Suggest change

Park your car at the Sunshine Parking lot. Don't block the driveway to Saunterers Solitude. Who is Saunterer? And why do they need so much solitude? Anyway, walk up the main trail to the First Walls and head right (Northish). Keep walking to The Lightbulb Buttress and then, keep walking, and walking and walking. Future generations will know the crag by the pile of bones left by the author after calling "Take!" one last time. Relax! They will be chicken bones, left after an epic BBQ.
