Getting There
Quick and easy access from Truckee, California.
From Truckee, drive east on I-80. Exit on Highway 89 north, toward Sierraville. Go 1.6 miles after the second roundabout, then turn left on Alder Creek Drive. After 2.7 miles turn right on a wide dirt road.
Main Prosser Hill boulders: Drive the dirt road for 1.4 miles. Turn left onto a rough small dirt road. Drive about .25 miles until the road ends at the Prosser Boulder.
Crabtree Canyon: Drive the dirt road for 1.7 miles. Turn left onto a rough small dirt road. At .25 miles take the right fork. Shortly, you'll reach the parking which is a turnaround at a locked gate.
