Description
Rather secluded area, has alot of potential for future areas of bouldering and only 10% has probably been scouted. Rock quality varies as some boulders have been brushed off and many remain filled with lichen, moss, and spiders.
Typical granite and slate boulders.
Follow along the Gallatin River Trail and you'll see many prospects and trails that dip into possible climbing areas.

Getting There
There are two ways in getting to the Galatin River Trail.
Go through the Garnet Mountain trailhead that is next to Storm Castle parking, follow the trail till a fork in the road, there will be a sign on the fork that will take you right and will direct you to the Gallatin River Trail. Following this route will take 5 miles and is not recommended if your out there to climb, however it is quite scenic.
The second way will take you to the front parking beside Cascade Creek Rd, this is the parking next to Lava Lake Trailhead on the other side of the Gallatin River. Once parked, cross the street to find a trail that will direct you toward the bouldering, probably less than a one mile hike till you've reached the boulders scattered about.
