Description

Classic blobby weirdness, uncertain rock, fabulous alien appearance, overlarge. This thing grows out of the ground, mushroom-like, free-standing, as if drifting across the sage. Intimidating to say the least, with wobbly flanks festooned with dribbly bits. The west face is the improbable exception: steep, clean, with a fine crack system leading direct to the summit.

Getting There

This is a bit off-site from the Wedding Site. From those towers, head slightly north of east. Cross the creek, cross the fence line near the northern end of the fence. Walk through an area of whiteness under stark cliffs, heading still slightly north of east. The tower stands out clearly as one approaches.
