Description of Arginonta (pronounced R-yeen-ON-tah)
Arginonta Valley proper is a series of three walls Left Cave, Middle Wall and Right Wall. The routes are often 25-30m in height and have a plethora of bolts to choose from. No need to trim down your rack for the hike, as it's only a few minutes walk from the valley floor.
The routes are dirty, likely as they are newly developed and heavily cleaned from vegetation. Pockets are often filled with dirty and the base has that fine dust so a rope bag is desired not only for your cord, but the longevity of the anchors above. Some routes are taking as many as 17 QD's and predominantly fall in the 5c-6b range.
A friendly base for kiddos with many goats hanging out nearby. This is an excellent area if you're seeking shade, in need of a short approach and/or looking for mileage.
