Description

This little town is the seat of one of the main climbing areas in the Altmühltal. History was written on these walls, but there are also plenty of more recent routes. The climbing is frequently slabby and technical, and it doesn't hurt to bring along your stoppers as many routes could be supplemented by additional protection.

Getting There

Prunn is just a few kilometers West of Kelheim and is close to Riedenburg. Park at the large parking lot at the East edge of Prunn. Walk 200m west to the path leading to the crags. This path is obvious due to the sign about climbing here right at its start. Choose your crag and make the appropriate approach.
