Description Suggest change

The Bluffs are a park in the city limits of Thunder Bay, just north of town. There are bigger and better crags near Thunder Bay, but the proximity, short approach, and high number of moderate routes make this a destination for schools.

This is a well-developed area. The guidebook for the whole Thunder Bay area is Aric Fishman's 'Thunder Bay Climbing'

Getting There Suggest change

Drive to the north side of Thunder Bay. From Arundel St, turn north onto a paved but unnamed road. Continue on that road for 1/2 km until you get to a parking lot. From the parking lot, walk the clearly defined trail northeast. This trail follows the top of the bluffs. Look for toprope anchor bolts, or find access trails to get to the bottom cliffs.
