Description Suggest change

Surprise! Ben Scott was right again. Bristlecone does indeed offer some nice bouldering, and there is still potential for more. The views and the wildlife are stunning, and the rock is quality. If you don't mind the drive, the approach is really short and pretty straightforward.

Getting There Suggest change

This is approximately 55 miles, 1.5 hours drive time, from Ted's Place. Head West on CR 14 for 51 miles. Turn North on Laramie River Rd/Co Rd 103 for 4 miles. Park at the obvious gated fork at the North End of a meadow. Walk down the road, and turn at the first obvious campsite on the right, walk upstream until there are some good logs to cross, and then trend uphill and right through talus/trees for 10-15 minutes.
