Description Suggest change

The most boulders you'll find in Juneau, they are covered in Lichen, bring a wire brush or something else to clean the rocks. A few of the boulders have small creeks around them or muskeg, a tarp could help keep your crash pad dry. The rocks are in the alpine and you can get sun up here earlier in the day, beautiful lush location with a view.

Getting There Suggest change

Behind Louie's Bar on Douglas go up D st. to where it turns into a dirt road and park. Continue up D Street, on the right a snow machine trail quickly begins, follow this up to the basin. Takes 1-2 hours depending on how fast you hike.
