Description Suggest change

Lizardhead is a sub-summit on the southwest ridge of Thunder Mountain. An iconic West Sedona landmark, this chunk of sandstone really looks like its namesake. Flanked on three sides by broken orange buttresses, this formation offers a nice variety of 1-3 pitch traditional adventures with a short easy approach. Many new moderates, amazing views, and sun/shade to be had year-round.

Getting There Suggest change

Routes are accessed by parking in one of the many pullouts along Dry Creek Road just south of the popular Dry Creek Vista Trailhead.
