Description
An old quarry wall that has decent ice climbing in the winter. Most routes are very easy and the wall can almost be climbed anywhere.
Getting There
Park at the RIDEM parking lot just north of 4174 Diamond Hill Road. There is an obvious trail heading northwest out of the parking lot. Please stay on the trail (watch out for mountain bikers) as the public land right of way is quite narrow. Once you get to the manmade rock wall you are in the RIDEM state park area.
Once you are in the park area, continue on the wider old dirt road heading northwest. There are many single-track mountain bike trails that stem off the wider trail but stay on the wider trail for about 5 minutes until you see a big concrete ramp up and on the right. Once you see the ramp, head uphill left of the ramp until you get into the old quarry area. The good ice climbing will be on your left on an obvious 40 foot tall slab.
