Big Snag Wall Rock Climbing

Reaching Big Snag is not terribly difficult but definitely not simple. From the lower trailhead, hike to Black Wall, then continue left and up the obvious trail several hundred more yards. Or, from the upper mountain, descend the Skyline Trail a fair ways then turn left on a side trail shortly after the junction to Orange Wall. The turnoff is in a grove of large cedars where the soil is often squishy, from which the access trail drops steadily to the wall. The length (~20 minutes) and difficulty of both approaches is about the same – would you rather grunt before or after climbing?
