Description

South/East facing tower with some longer endurance routes and a great view over the Krottensee forest from the top.

Getting There

From Krottensee (east of "Neuhaus an der Pegnitz") drive east towards "Maximiliangrotte". Pass "Maximiliangrotte" and drive for about a mile, until you see a parking area on the right side of the road. Park here, cross the road and head north and uphill on the trail towards the "Steinerne Stadt", about 250ft. You'll find yourself in the middle of some impressive looking boulders forming the "Steinerne Stadt" ("City of rocks"). Look around because it's beautiful and then head left (west) through the rock formations to the tower.
