Description Suggest change

Another little sandstone cliff found in this area, in one of the side drainages off Junction Creek, Valalpin Outcrop wraps a steep hillside on two sides. The shorter south side is broken by ledges and has a nice fist crack and some dirty pockets, while the east side has good cracks, edges, pockets, and a small roof.

Getting There Suggest change

Continue past the campground 1 mile on the right. Across the road from the parking, the trail heads east through a line of boulders and down to the top of the cliff. There’s a small conifer at the top.

Where the trail reaches a slot formed by two large boulders, find an exposed, faint trail north (go left) which then goes down to the base of the routes. Find a cairn, step down, and follow exposed ledges/stairs down & across to base.
