Description
The area is beautifully set on the coast of Steigen. A short hike from the quay at Nordskot you will find a secluded crag in a U-shaped hill. The crag is exposed to wet and windy weather from the southwest, but lovely on a good day with easternly winds. The rock is a reddish granite similar to what you will find in Lofoten. Judging from the tracks in the area it is not much used. There are quite a few bolted routes here, most of them fairly simple but still entertaining. The westernmost section, "Nordskotsvaet", offers plenty of opportunities for placing natural gear with no bolts whatsoever (yet).
Torbjørn Aass has made a great miniguide that I've used to upload these routes. You can download it here.

Getting There
Boat to Nordskot from Svolvær or Bodø or car from the E6 at Tømmerneset and follow road signs towards Nordskot. The crag is a short hike south along the road from the quay. When you are at the industrial complex at the bend, take the less travelled cart trail forking south from the complex and follow it up to the crag. Make sure that you park well off to the side of the road to allow the locals use of the road. The hill up to the crag can be challenging with a 2WD.
