Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. Description

This small area has several easy to moderates problems on two boulders. Dogwood V12 is located here. It is a good place to end the day on your way out of the park.

Getting There

Drive out of the Valley on Northside Drive.

For Wood Yard East, park at the dirt pullout on the right ~0.7 miles after the El Cap Bridge (El Capitan Drive). You can see the boulders from the pullout. Hike up the dirt road.

For Wood Yard West, park at the pullout on the left ~0.9 miles after the bridge. Carefully cross the road and hike back toward Yosemite Village a few hundred feet to find the MSG Boulder.
