A picturesque village situated at the base of the Eiger Nordwand, Grindelwald is one of the two most famous Swiss climbing destinations next to Zermatt. While the majority focus on the Eiger looming large above the village, there are a handfull of sport climbs in the area as well.

Getting There Suggest change

From Interlaken, take the Berner Oberlandbahn train to Grindelwald which takes about 35 minutes and costs approximately 29 Swiss Franks roundtrip.
