Description Suggest change

A small crag with 7 individual routes. There's one more, which is possibly the oldest one on this crag, but since it wandered between where two routes are now, there's not much unique climbing left for this route if you've done the other two. The old route is Westwand and shares a start with "Probleme, die ich noch nicht hatte" and traverses left at the ledge to join "Westwand - Einstiegsvariante".

The crag is quiet, with the only real traffic being a few hikers who walk on the paved trail which passes by. You should be alone here if you come. Also, it's a great kid-crag with a stroller-friendly approach (it doesn't get any better!) and a mostly flat base just 30 meters or so away from the crag. In the early spring and winter it gets sun in the afternoon.

Getting There Suggest change

From Egloffstein, head towards Trubachtal/Gräfenberg and take the first left towards Geschwand. Take the right towards Dörfles and park in the village somewhere, ideally a the trailhead which is located 100m after turning left towards Sorg and Signalstein. Walk 330m down said trailhead (a paved path wide enough for one car) until you reach the crag on your left.
