Description

Very soft and much harder than it looks! This 200+ foot double+ summit tower is remote and worth the hike. The northern summit is about two feet higher than the southern summit. Be thoughtful and sew the thing up! Start early to avoid the sun and bring beer!

Getting There

Depending on road conditions due to monsoonal summer rains, follow the directions to the Church Area and then go past the corral and holding area, another 1/2 mile, to the end of the road and a turn around. At the turn around there is a turn-style in the fence. Follow this "trail" for approximately a mile staying left at the forks and head north where you see the tower and a prominent cairn in the trail. Cut across the plain right or north west to the towers west side, here you can see the line for the south summit or go around the corner (NE) to the north line. About a 30 min. approach.
