Description
The QuarterWays are a great group of blocks with tons of moderates. This area encompasses The southwestern ridge of Mount Baldy. It is also the first bouldering area you encounter next to Wayward Valley. The stone is for the most part great and the problems range from dirt burglars to highballs. Hiking in from either Wrinkled Rock or South Seas towards Mount Baldy I have listed either a (L) or a (R) that shows which side of the valley this boulders sit on.
WRINKLED ROCK PARKING ACCESS
WRINKLED ROCK ACCESS:
Hike the trail out of the parking lot. You will come to a T in the trail you will take a left following the fence. At the fences end take a right and follow this down the stairs. When the trail slightly splits stay left and follow it slightly left and down hill. Hike down pass the water spring area and across the bridge made from old logs. After about 2 minutes of hiking you will come to another "T" in the trail. This is Old Camp Judson Rd. Take a right, there should be a sign that says, " Entering Mount Rushmore". Follow this trail up for a couple of minutes. On your right is Wayward Valley the giant talus jumble. The rest of the area surrounding this is known as, The Quarterways.
