Description
One free-standing crag (Fehenstein) and another long wall offer long routes with pretty "sporty" bolting. The routes are mostly sparsely bolted, so follow rule number 1 in climbing: don't fall. A set of stoppers at least would be helpful. Tricams also work well when placed in pockets, but try not to place them in the holds since you could break them if you fall on the piece.
Getting There
At the northern side of Gößweinstein (towards Behringersmühle) is a road on your left called Badangerstraße which is a loop. If you see a big parking lot on your left right away, good. Park here or somewhere else along the road if you don't want to pay the 4 day fee. If you didn't see the parking lot, keep driving down the road, follow it as it bends right and heads past houses to a field and the parking lot. Find parking.
In the corner, opposite the parking lot, are a couple of hotels. Walk down the road angling away from the parking lot towards "Stempferhof". Continue to the Kindergarten. Here you'll see a hiking trail decending down and a yellow bench in view. Take this trail past the bench and follow it past several misleading crags (all Zone 1, which means don't climb on them) to Fehensteine first, and about 50m further, Eibenwände. Superfly is marked and serves as a good reference point for where you are.
The approach takes 5 to 10 minutes.
The GPS coordinates indicate the parking.

Caution
Eibenwände means Yew Tree Walls (Eibe = Yew Tree; Wände = Walls). This crag isn't child-friendly, but for anyone bringing kids here anyway, a word of caution: The berries from Yew Trees are poisonous. Watch what your little ones put in their mouths, or don't come here at all. Symptoms of poisoning appear within one hour.
