Description
More Lake is a pretty lake nestled in the forest below the south flanks of Mt Seymour and just a few kilometres west of Chinese Mountains. There are a handful of crags here with enough high-quality routes and the bonus of lake swimming and mountain bike access to make a visit here well worthwhile. The main crags here are Little Morte Edge and Lake View Crag.

Getting There
Driving north on Hyacinthe Bay Road watch for a left hand junction 'Walcan Road'. Turn left onto Walcan Road and drive 700m on the gravel. Look on the right (north) side of the road for the signposted parking for the Morte Lake trail. Park and hike (or mountain bike) west on the Morte Lake trail. After about 20-25 minutes walk the trail makes an abrupt drop to the left downhill. Look ahead and follow the old road bed uphill to Little Morte Edge.
After about a 30-40 minute walk there is a signposted junction for the loop trail that encircles Morte Lake. Keep right on the north side of the lake and just 25m past the junction look for a path heading up the hill. Lake View Crag is easily visible in an opening above the trees.
