Getting There Suggest change

There are currently 2 main options to access this cliff. Do NOT trespass on the farm property, they have warned you will be ticketed if caught.

1. Rough trail access to the top of the cliff is possible by passing Carney Crag, and following the snowmobile trail until you get to an intersection at the very north side of the cliff. You will then take a left (instead of a right which would continue on snowmobile trail) and within a 1/4 mile take a steep right to scale the backside to the top. You will need a very capable off-road vehicle (i.e. lifted jeep, side-by-side, bike etc.)

2. Hike either in the valley or the top of the cliff line from the lower Section 18 cliffs (Dry Tool, Picnic, etc.) and use GPS to find the cliff.

Option 2 is the recommended method, especially if already at southern Section 18 cliffs.
