Description

This is a nice granite wall with 18 routes per the book and some newer lines that aren't listed. Pretty much sun all day and great views above the lake. Per the book the grades are from 6a to 7a+ but there might be harder stuff now. There is a lower wall (muro hotel), then a ledge and a higher wall (segundo piso). Muro Hotel is 100 - 150m. The long routes link into the upper wall also.

Routes with bolts shouldn't be considered "sport". Be ready for adventure whatever you do and it's advisable to have a helmet.

Getting There

Start at the hotel. Hike around the left side of the lake on the trail called Brazo Tristeza. From there, hike about 200m and then go left at a wooden gate / fence. Hike straight up hill on rough trails in the sand. Don't get sucked too far right, try to go more or less straight up. When you hit the base of the short wall head left along paths and across a stream. Keep going until you find a right-angling 4th class weakness that makes it's way up to/past a single-bolt rap anchor (-41.078173, -71.571464). You might want to rope up for this but it goes fast and it's a short walk from there to the base.
