Description Suggest change

Shark is a boulder with easy access not too far from the parking lot.  Reminiscent to the granite of Joshua Tree the boulders here climbs through a central hueco with a sloper top.  The rock is rough but not sharp and makes for some great climbing at the sacrifice of some skin.

Getting There Suggest change

The closest parking is the gravel lot on Riverside Drive, just East of 42nd St. Take the windy trail down and to the left. The Shark Boulder lies right next to the Buttermilk Trail. Even with the leaves out, it is obvious.
