Description

A small cliff band made of Basalt on the Deschutes River. The cliff band is on a popular Bend hiking trail and you'll be sharing the area with hikers. The problems are tall but the landings are all pretty good.

Getting There

Walk the East shore of the river trail for roughly 15 minutes until you hit an obvious clearing with a tall cliff band that has been cleaned and has some chalky holds on it.

As of 8/17/20 the river trail is one way due to social distancing guidelines. You can park at Farewell Bend State Park and walk up the trail the wrong way but people will give you funny looks and it's not the nicest thing to do. Your other 2 options to get to the bouldering is parking higher up and scrambling down to the boulders from above, or walking all the way around the river trail in the correct direction.
